Amazingly worked out, but still not perfect

As a RPG fan, I found this game a blast. I'll try not to touch on anything that can be improved, as I haven't yet played the 2nd game.

The Graphics are wonderful for a solo flash artist. The music can get a bit repetitive though. And the gameplay has many elements to it that were probably added to help add diversity and balance to the game.

That being said, once you figure out how this game works, the strategy does become a bit limited. The later difficulties are just more damage to your players, and thus longer, more stressful battles with a hint of luck in them. Someone who plays through a few times will figure out that most enemies have a strategy, like any good game, but that the strategies often are the same sometimes.

There's a profound lack of items that affect multiple players, and thus some items become obsolete compared to others. And with a lack of varied spells that do different things, it often becomes better to just forgo those spells or attacks for ones that just work better.

Great game still. But for the fact that some items and skills become useless quickly on the higher difficulties, the game gets a 9. But what are you waiting for? Go play it!

Good, but not the best

First off, visuals and music was great. Could have done with a few more tracks, as it's a puzzle game, so it begins to grate on the nerves.

However, a lot of the puzzles were basically tutorials, and then only a few of the fun puzzles. In short, it was, well, short.

If there's another game or one like it, take out the hints, and try new ways to help the player out if stuck. And give us more puzzles. All in all, 8 puzzles didn't basically have the answer just given to you, so give us more of those.
